Payment
There are a few options.
- Merchant facility - We prefer to use Eway as the payment gateway, you will need to hold a merchant facility with your bank.
- Paypal - You will need to sign up for a Paypal account.
- Manual - Get the credit card number and process manually, the least secure option.
Selling
We have a versatile margin utility in the control panel that you can add:
- Dollar amount
- Percentage
And you can select different items by:
- Category (Example: 5% on cameras)
- Brand (Example: 6% on all Canon products)
- Category/Brand (Example: 7% on all Canon Printers)
- Dollar Amount (Example: $3 on all items less than $10 cost)
- Particular item (Example: 3% on 500G Seagate hard drives)
- All items (Example: 8% on all items not specified)
Of course, you can also set a special price for particular items in 'Specials'.
Shipping
The problem with courier is when you send to end user, if the customer is not home, the item will get sent back, but Australia Post will leave a card, and customer can pick up from post office.
Australian Post E-parcel is also a signatured delivery, so the proof of delivery is easily obtained.
